Eurikas launches BraidForce™ for braided gland packing applications

Eurikas is pleased to introduce BraidForce™, a new anionic emulsion of high-performance specialty wax developed specifically for braided gland packing formulations.

Braided gland packings must continue to perform under compression, flexing, wear and vibration. BraidForce™ combines lubrication and water resistance with a small average particle size and narrow particle-size distribution. This supports excellent dispersion and consistent performance throughout the formulation.

The product is designed for gland packings used in pumps, rotating equipment, valves and technical installations, including demanding process industries and critical applications.

BraidForce™ also offers strong chemical resistance to liquids and gases, minimal shrinkage at elevated temperatures and low abrasive properties. This helps reduce wear on shafts and sleeves while supporting reliable mechanical performance under demanding operating conditions.

Already used in braided gland packing applications, BraidForce™ gives manufacturers an application-specific specialty wax for developing high-performance sealing solutions.
