Polymers
Through our suppliers Eurikas offers a range of high-performance polymers. The extensive range of specialty polymers of Mitsui Chemicals, offer a variety of solutions to customers challenged by issues such as abrasion and heat resistance, fluoropolymer replacement and lightweighting.
A brief overview of the range
Aurum thermoplastic polyimide offering excellent heat resistance & electrical properties, low co-efficient of friction and good dimensional stability. Ideal for metal replacement and for use in applications such as hairpin stators, bus bars, uni-diirectional tapes, bushings, gaskets and bearings.
Arlen is a range of modified polyamide 6T grades offering high heat and hydrolysis resistance for automotive and electrical parts.
TPX is a high melt point (230-240°c) PMP polyolefin with low COF, electrical properties similar to fluoropolymers, light weight and interesting gas transmission properties. Appications include release films for composites, synthetic leather and packaging film skin layers, increasing heat resistance of PP, opacification, cable insulation, microfluidics and tubing.
Apel. A range of cyclic olefin copolymers offering excellent moisture barrier, shrinkage, transparency, easy tear and chemical resistance. Applications include lenses, shrink sleeves, syringes and microfluidics.
Mipelon. A range of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene powders used for abrasion resistance, film hardening and texturing. A good alternative to fluoropolymers in certain applications.
Lubmer. Self lubricating high molecular weight polyethylene finding particular application in the modification of wear and lubricating properties of engineering plastics.
Humofit. A range of polyolefin memory foams with the special feature of deforming at body temperature. Excellent synergies with PU foams, compared to which better load spreading, recyclability and light weighting are benefits.
Absortomer. A unique polyolefin from Mitsui Chemicals giving improved damping and stress absorption to elastomers and other polymers.
Nagori. A unique compound of polypropylene that offers an ecologically friendly solution to the issue of how to use byproducts of de-salnation. Products made from Nagori have a unique ceramic-like appearance and feel. Applications include designer buttons, table wear, ear pod containers and various other types of designer goods.Â

Proud to introduce a new fully bio-based coating
Eurikas is proud to introduce a new fully bio-based coating that can be easily applied on paper and board packaging. This is ideal for avoiding microplastics in the environment because it eliminates the need for synthetic polymers that contribute to microplastic pollution.
